Sasa Asian Cuisine gives a new take on Asian flavors

Care to taste something new? Sasa Asian Cuisine, located at Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, gives a fresh take on Asian fusion cuisine that will be surely loved by Pinoys. Our favorite dishes from Japan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia are made even better with a Pinoy twist, thanks to the genius that is Chef Raymar Reyes and his team.

We started our Asian fusion experience with the Fried Yasai Itame made of stir-fried vegetables placed in between layers of fried lumpia wrappers and drizzled with Japanese mayo.

We were then served with a big platter of Black Pepper Prawns. Don’t be fooled by its name because the dish is not spicy at all, even kids can eat this.

Meanwhile, the Crispy Pork Belly in Tamarind Glaze is a witty twist on the classic Lechon Kawali that Pinoys love, made tastier with the exotic tang of tamarind .

The  Soy Chicken is more like a soy-based  Hainanese Chicken dish. This uncomplicated dish can be paired with rice or noodles, if you ask me.

Another witty twist on the classic Patatim is the Crispy Lamb Patatim which would be perfect for those trying to avoid pork.

And for the vegetable lovers, there’s the Eggplant with Mixed Vegetables that consists of fried eggplants mixed with diced chicken, other veggies, and soy sauce mix.

All of these we ate heartily with Chicken Chorizo Rice that’s also already a complete meal in itself.

For those who crave for a bowl of warm soup, the Shrimp and Chicken Laksa is the perfect choice. It’s serving is good for sharing, too.

And for desserts, we shared a plate of Mango Sticky Rice that can also pass as a filling merienda.

And as a grand finale to this wonderful feast, we had Sasa Asian Cuisine’s interesting homemade ice cream flavors.

TMG is just fairly new in the foodie scene having started only in 2015 but has already gained quite a following. To attract more followers and also as a treat to their existing customers, TMG has lined up gimmicks in the such as this Ninja standing outside the restaurant.
