In our family, cheesecakes are reserved only for ultra-special occasions. They are yummy, no doubt about that. But the price does eat a big chunk of our budget. In fact, we buy cheesecakes only by the slice. So imagine my delight when MetroDeal offered a whole 8″ Cheesecake, etc. cheesecake at 50% off. Instead of Php 995, the Mango Passion cheesecake I ordered only cost Php 495. Sweet!

I claimed my cake at The Podium branch of Cheesecake, etc. Upon presenting my voucher, I was asked if I already made a reservation beforehand to which I replied, “No.” My bad, I didn’t read the fine print. But the guy who took my order was kind enough to give me my Mango Passion cheesecake. (Argh, I forget to get his name!) I was extra happy because it’s supposed to be my husband’s birthday cake.
Just in case you haven’t read yet, MetroDeal is my newest groupon fave. So far, I only have good reviews about MetroDeal. First I thought this site is a scam or a fraud, but it’s not! MetroDeal simply has great deals.
